Joondalup’s Music in the Park to be overtaken by Beatlemania for final event

BEATLEMANIA will take over Greenwood’s Penistone Park this Saturday as the City of Joondalup’s Music in the Park free concert series wraps up.

Known for its explosive energy, The Milford Street Shakers will take to the stage to honour The Beatles and the stars who loved them.

Dubbed a tribute show with a twist, the 12-piece will cover other musicians’ covers of classic Beatles hits.

Also performing will be Murphy’s Lore, who have always had a love of all things Beatles.

They have put together a show featuring well-known hits including Something, Here Comes The Sun, Penny Lane and A Hard Day’s Night that focuses on harmonies, musicianship and a love for the material.

Bring your own picnic, with the entertainment running from 6pm to 8.30pm and children’s activities from 5pm.
