Karaoke World Championships heats in Perth’s northern suburbs

The Beldon Tavern is hosting nine rounds, with round four this Friday.

The winners from each weekly round will compete in the venue final on June 3 for a spot in the state final at The Brooklands Tavern in August.

A state final (at the Brooklands Tavern) and national final will follow, with the winner to compete against 30 other countries for the world title in Canada in November.

There is $50,000 in cash and prizes on offer.Other local venues are Paddy Malone’s in Joondalup, with weekly rounds on Thursday nights from May 5 to June 30 and the venue final on July 7, and Merriwa Tavern, with weekly rounds on Tuesday nights from April 26 to June 21 and the final on July 5.
