KINGSLEY author Julia Taylor has reprinted copies of her 2013 historical novel.

Taylor grew up between WA’s early gold mining towns of Siberia (also known as Waverley), Kanowna and Kalgoorlie and wrote Daughters of Siberia as a tribute to her parents and grandparents there.

“It also involves the war at Gallipoli and the exodus of all the young men from those towns, including my father,” she said.

Taylor said that after selling all previous copies of the book she found demand continued. “I have had numerous calls from others wishing to buy a copy for gifts for family members stating how much they enjoyed the memories in my story, which took them back to their own childhood in the bush towns,” she said.

She has printed 20 copies that are available for $25 each.
