NEW Zealand root reggae rockers Katchafire are celebrating the release of their fifth studio album with an Australian tour.
Legacy dropped on June 1 and within hours hit number one on the Reggae Album Charts in NZ and the US and number three on the Billboard Reggae charts.
It brings messages of love, hope, togetherness and family, with the 12 songs recorded in studios around the world, including NZ, Australia, LA, Hawaii and Jamaica.
It has also seen them nominated for two NZ Music Awards – Best Roots Artist and Best Maori Artist.

READ NOWThe 2018 Legacy Love Today Tour will see the band play five shows in WA, including Bar1 Nightclub in Hillarys on November 16, Port Beach Garden Bar in Fremantle on November 17 and Rosemount Hotel in North Perth on November 18.
Support acts will include Jamaica’s Earthkry touring Australia for the first time.
