Taxiride is in Perth this long weekend.

IT has been a while for Taxiride but the Melbourne rock band is back on the touring circuit.

For the first time in 15 years, original members Dan Hall, Tim Watson, Tim Wild and Jason Singh will hit the stage with shows at Carine Glades Tavern in Duncraig on Friday night, The Gosnells Hotel on Saturday and The Highway Hotel in Bunbury on Sunday.

Taxiride had a lot of success in the 2000s with double platinum number one albums, seven top 40 hit singles, including Get Set, Everywhere You Go, Creepin’ Up Slowly, How I Got This Way and Oh Yeah and an ARIA award.

With the original line-up back together, the lads hope to take punters on a trip down memory lane.

Silent Deeds will be the support act. Tickets from Moshtix or at the door.

The Times has two double passes to the show at Carine Glades Tavern this Friday to give away.
