THE City of Joondalup has offered support to local artists in the weekends leading up to the Joondalup Festival to open their home studios to the public.

The Art @ Home trails is a community-run initiative driven by local art associations to allow members of the public to visit local artists and learn first-hand about their practice.

Pieces on display will include paintings, drawings, sculpture and metal works.

More than 20 locations will be open between 10am and 4pm.

The first trail on March 10 and 11 will cover Padbury, Kallaroo, Mullaloo and Craigie; the second on March 17 and 18 will be in Kingsley, Duncraig, Sorrento and Kallaroo; and the third on March 24 and 25 will be in Connolly, Heathridge, Ocean Reef, Iluka and Joondalup.

The maps to each trail can be downloaded here.
