“Each year, we have a guest artist display their work as well to allow students and the broader college community the opportunity to interact with and view the work of a practising professional artist,” he said.

“The exhibition is, as it has been named, a great showcase of the students’ works from a broad spectrum of disciplines and it provides them the chance to step back and view their work in a professional set-up for all to see.

“The students gain a new appreciation and fully engage in the opportunity to share their works with friends, family and the entire college community.”

Opening night included performances by student music ensembles, guest musicians Eerie Anne and food served by hospitality students.

Grandparents of years 7 and 8 students were also invited for a morning tea and to view the exhibition.
