The Year 12 student was named the winner of the City of Joondalup’s Banners in the Terrace competition that invites local schools to design a banner that visually represents the City.

As well as winning a $150 voucher, Ms Nguyen’s design will be transferred to a larger banner to fly in St Georges Terrace with up to 70 others during Local Government Week from July 23 to August 5.

Judges said Ms Nguyen’s submission clearly celebrated Joondalup, showed attention to detail, was striking and had a good combination of elements.
