Tyler BrownJoondalup Times

STREETS in Beldon and Craigie are now getting a makeover as the City of Joondalup’s Leafy City Program moves through the suburbs.

Tree planting is expected to continue until the end of June, with works in Kinross, Currambine and Padbury expected to start next month.

Planting in Heathridge also started last month, with 300 already planted including Tuarts along Caridean Street and WA Peppermints along Poseidon Road

Joondalup Mayor Troy Pickard said the City had received overwhelming support and enthusiasm for the Leafy City Program.
