SACRED Heart College staff built 20 bikes to give to children in need as part of their recent Staff Wellbeing Day.

The day was focused on building tools for stress recovery and involved activities such as meditation, folk dancing, beach walks and guest speakers.

Staff members also took part in a team-building exercise where they were split in to groups and given a box of parts to build a children’s bike.

The Australian Red Cross then picked up the bikes to give to the St Vincent de Paul Society to give to children in need.

The college is looking to make this an annual exercise.
