Bush block to be sold for over 55s development

THE City of Joondalup has advertised its intention to sell a block of land near Candlewood shopping centre for development.

The City issued a public notice that it planned to sell 15 Burlos Court, Joondalup for $1.675 million to Bermen Property 5 Pty Ltd, inviting submissions until April 9.

The notice said the site, which is currently bushland, would be developed with residential units for people aged over 55.

According to the public notice, a November 29 market valuation undertakenby a licensed valuer assessed the site’s value as being $1.72 million.

The City has previously tried to sell the land through a public tender in August 2016 and a public auction in June 2018.
