CAR dealers helped students at five northern suburbs schools plant trees today.

Staff from Grand Toyota’s Wangara and Clarkson stores joined in Schools Tree Day events at North Woodvale, Landsdale and Quinns Rocks primary schools on July 27.

They also attended events at Swan Valley and Peter Moyes Anglican community schools ahead of National Tree Day on Sunday, July 29, which encourages communities to help preserve the environment for future generations.

“Schools Tree Day is a great way to teach kids how important it is to connect with nature and why we need to give back to the environment,” Grand Toyota marketing coordinator Chelsea Asher said.

“The students are given an opportunity to plant and care for the seedlings as they grow, while also beautifying the school grounds.”
