Car hit by van crashes into home

The Toyota Corolla was turning into a driveway on Fairway Circle about 8.20pm when the Mitsubishi van hit it from behind.

The impact sent the car crashing through a front room of the property.

Police later charged a 45-year-old Connolly man with excess 0.08.

On Tuesday, a car stolen from a Hilton Place property in Duncraig crashed into a home in Balga.

The driver lost control while travelling along Walderton Avenue about 10.30am.

It struck a van on the verge before careering into the house, causing extensive damage.

Witnesses saw a dark-skinned man wearing dark clothing leave the scene in a dark-coloured vehicle, believed to be a Holden Commodore.
