A MEMBER of the public apprehended an alleged armed offender after they held up a deli in Padbury yesterday afternoon.
Regional Investigations Unit detectives charged a man after following the armed robbery incident.
Around 4:10pm, a man entered the deli on Forrest Road and while he was being served police allege he produced a knife and demanded cash.
The staff member complied with the demand and the man left the store.

He was taken to Joondalup Police Station and interviewed by detectives.
An 18-year-old man from Padbury has been charged with armed robbery. He was refused bail and is due to appear in Joondalup Magistrates Court this morning.
