City of Joondalup cyclists keep Bike Doctor busy during Bike Week

Tyler BrownJoondalup Times

LOCAL cyclists kept the Bike Doctor busy during a recent call to the City of Joondalup.

The March 18 event attracted 89 riders to Burns Beach Park where bike mechanics were on hand to provide free bike services, including brake alignments, gear tuning and tyre air pressure checks.

The visit was part of Bike Week 2018, which started on March 16 and finishes on Sunday.

The City also used the week to launch its new community bike survey.

The survey asks members of the local community including non-bike riders to give feedback on how the City can better support and encourage bike riding.

Responses will help inform the City’s future bike programs, promotions and infrastructure.
