The project has taken several important steps forward recently, including last month when two documents that form the basis of the |environmental and planning assessments were released for public comment.
During the forum, attendees could ask questions of a panel of experts, covering issues such as project timeframes, the local environment, boating and parking.
“It was pleasing to see so many people attend these two forums, again showing there is overwhelming support for this project,” Mayor Troy Pickard said.
