A NEW website for a new era.

Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of its establishment, the City of Joondalup will this week launch its redesigned website.

It will be more interactive and will deliver more than 100 online services for the community to use from their computer, laptop, iPad or smart phone devices.

It will also feature an intuitive search function where information is grouped into categories of user-focused topics.

Users will also be able to set their profile as a resident, business or visitor to ensure more relevant information to their individual needs.

Several community focus group sessions have been held with residents as part of the website project.

Mayor Albert Jacob said the redesign was to focus on the needs of the local community and make the website easier to use.

“Advances in technology have meant local governments need to better use technology to deliver their services and engage with their community,” he said.

The website address remains www.joondalup.wa.gov.au.
