A SEVEN-storey hotel is proposed for the Joondalup CBD.

The City of Joondalup has received an application for a development at the corner of Kyle Court and Grand Boulevard.

It is proposed to include six levels of hotel rooms (121 rooms total), ground floor café, bar, office and seminar room, rooftop gym, pool, spa and sauna facilities and basement and ground floor car parking with 41 bays.

Under the City’s district planning scheme, the proposal exceeds the height limit by two storeys and has a carpark shortfall of 11 bays.

The City is calling for feedback on the proposal.

Plans can be viewed at www.joondalup.wa.gov.au or at the City’s administration building, with submissions closing on February 27.

The State Government’s development assessment panel will then assess the application and make the final decision.
