TWO northern suburbs coastal projects have received State Government funding.

Planning Minister Donna Faragher was at Mullaloo Beach last Tuesday to announce the Mullaloo Beach Community Group would receive $21,300 for its Mullaloo Coastcare 2017 project.

This will include weeding, dune restoration and beach clean-ups to protect the Quindalup dunes at Mullaloo, part of Bush Forever site 325.

“The Mullaloo Beach Community Group in conjunction with the City of Joondalup have done an amazing job in caring for and appreciating coastal biodiversity,” Joondalup MLA Jan Norberger said.
