CONNOLLY Primary School promoted health and fitness in a fun and colourful way on Tuesday.

In a twist to the tradition lapathon, the school held a colour fun run.

As the students ran laps of the school oval, parents and teachers showered them in coloured dye.

“The event was a major school fundraising opportunity, along with promoting school and community engagement, health and wellbeing and the school’s motto of ‘Growing in Harmony’,” corporate services officer Christine Richards said.”

Local firefighters also attended, which “added to the excitement of the day”.
