Currambine thieves forced to push start getaway car

Mark DonaldsonJoondalup Times

Police are still looking for the offenders, who broke into the Currambine Central outlet about 5.30am on December 28.

Joondalup Sergeant David McDonald said burglars drilled the lock of the Marmion Avenue business to steal various products, including hair straighteners – a popular item for thieves.

“They were there for quite a while,” he said.

“The car wouldn’t start so they had to try and push start it.”
