The Fremantle Dockers forward visited Hawker Park Primary School on August 24 to share his story and talk about the importance of healthy eating and keeping fit.

Parent and team captain Gemma Tavaale said it was the school's first team entry into the annual fundraiser for Activ.

She said the footballer also talked to students, who will be doing the 4km walk on August 30, about working hard to achieve goals and giving 100 per cent effort in everything.

"After fielding some pretty hard-hitting questions from students, Chris joined the kindy students for some warm ups before joining the rest of the school complete a running activity around the oval," she said.
