The Fremantle Dockers forward visited Hawker Park Primary School on August 24 to share his story and talk about the importance of healthy eating and keeping fit.
Parent and team captain Gemma Tavaale said it was the schools first team entry into the annual fundraiser for Activ.
She said the footballer also talked to students, who will be doing the 4km walk on August 30, about working hard to achieve goals and giving 100 per cent effort in everything.
After fielding some pretty hard-hitting questions from students, Chris joined the kindy students for some warm ups before joining the rest of the school complete a running activity around the oval, she said.
While Chris admits he needs to work a little more on being a good sport when his team doesnt win a game he has inspired us all to be I did kids rather than Im gonna kids.
Some parents in the team will be doing the 12km event on Sunday.
