Double rainbow snap all about timing for Joondalup photographer

Staff WriterJoondalup Times

LUCKY timing enabled Joondalup resident Chris Kowalski to capture this rainbow during light rain while on his daily walk yesterday afternoon.

“As I got to Picnic Cove, I noticed the rainbow was starting to form as the sun had come out and some dark cloud had started to develop from the west,’ he said.

“Gradually the rainbow got bigger and full and across the Lake. I only had my iPhone with me so I managed a couple of photos and I was very happy to share with everyone.

“I think I was lucky to be there at the right time as the sun wasn’t out for long.

“I then checked the weather on my phone and saw there was a big front coming in so I had to walk very quickly back to Neil Hawkins Park and to my car before the rain front hit.”

Mr Kowalski shared the Edgewater picture on his Instagram page, @chrisk060 .
