AN Edgewater man had a lucky escape as his house went up in flames overnight.

It is understood St John Ambulance officers treated him for burnt feet and that he was not required to be taken to hospital.

The fire in Wisteria Parade was reported about 7.30pm and nine DFES crews attended from Wangara, Duncraig, Joondalup and Osborne Park stations.
