A WOMAN was allegedly nearly four times the blood alcohol limit while driving a car with a tyre worn down to its rim in Edgewater yesterday.
The 42-year-old woman’s two-year-old daughter was in the car at the time.
Police also charged the motorist with driving without a licence.
A police spokesman said an off-duty officer stopped the Holden sedan about 3.50pm on Joondalup Drive after noticing it was travelling on one of its rims.
