Emerald Park craft club shines to raise nearly $3000 at Biggest Morning Tea

THE Emerald Park craft club raised more than $2800 at its annual Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser for the Cancer Council WA.

More than 90 people attended the May 24 event at the club’s Edgewater base, raising $2827 for the charity.

“There were several stalls selling cakes, crafts, plants, flowers and bric-a-brac,” organiser Sue Hammett said.

Mrs Hammett said there were more than 70 raffle prizes, including home-made quilts, dolls and hampers as well as vouchers.
