“Happy Campers is a comedy and tells the story of a family gathering in the remote countryside to scatter the ashes of a man with a dark secret.

“There are revelations all round and an unexpected treasure hunt. The excitement is in tents!”

The character, Spencer, is a bit of a bore, full of facts and figures about anything and everything, but has no sense of what is going on around him. His wife’s aunt describes him as a “cure for insomnia”.

The company rehearses and performs at Hamersley Community Recreation Centre, Belvedere Road, Hamersley.

Rehearsals are on Thursday nights (with a few Sunday afternoons in April), and performances are over two weekends in May, starting May 10.
