Expressions of interest open for City of Joondalup’s Community Invitation Art Award

EXPRESSIONS of interest are open for the City of Joondalup’s prestigious annual art prize.

The Community Invitation Art Award will see up to 15 professional artists from across WA exhibit three artworks each.

With a prize pool of more than $15,000, the event is known to attract some of the state’s best contemporary artists.

Expressions of interest are open until 5pm on April 15.

The exhibit will be held in the Myer Centre Court at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City from October 14 to 28.

The winner of the acquisitive prize will receive $7000 and one artist will be commissioned to produce an artwork for the Joondalup Library billboard.
