Feedback sought on Mullaloo beach toilet

Tyler BrownJoondalup Times

BEACH-GOERS are being asked for their feedback regarding the use of the toilet at Mullaloo Beach North.

According to the City of Joondalup, the automated facility next to the Key West carpark is “presenting significant and ongoing maintenance issues for the City”.

It was constructed in the late 1990s and has now been identified as “having reached the end of its useful life”.

The City is seeking feedback on whether the community uses and values the existing facility or would prefer it be replaced or decommissioned.

If it is decided to replace the facility, it is likely it would include a universal access toilet and separate male and female ambulant toilets.

If it is to be decommissioned, it would be replaced with landscaping.

It is not proposed to remove the outdoor showers.

Online submissions can be made at www.joondalup.wa.gov.au before January 22, or call 9400 4255 for a hard copy form.
