Five charged after Burns Beach home drug raid

A POLICE drug raid on a Burns Beach home resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, cocaine and weapons early this month.

Investigators charged five people after the April 4 search on Spitfire Avenue.

Facing most of the charges was a 27-year-old man, who was accused of possessing methamphetamine with intent to sell or supply.

He was also allegedly carrying cocaine.

Police further charged him with possessing weapons, stolen property and drug paraphernalia. Another 27-year-old man was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell or supply as well as the theft of a motorcycle. A 23-year-old woman, 26-year-old man and 41-year-old man were charged with assorted drug possession offences.
