Officers allege the 31-year-old Butler man did not stop for them after they witnessed him ride through a red light at the intersection of Warwick Road and Erindale Road about 8.55pm on Tuesday.

Police media spokesman Sam Dinnison said police would allege the man’s motorcycle narrowly missed a car after ignoring the red light.

He said the motorcycle rider later swerved to miss a vehicle on Dorchester Avenue before attempting to swerve past another one when he lost control and crashed into it.
