Free book exchange in Greenwood

A FREE book exchange, coffee and chat is being held weekly in Greenwood.

Pick-A-Book encourages visitors to bring a book, stay for a coffee and a social catch up, then take a new title home.

Genres include children’s books, general interest, fiction, sport, gardening and cooking.

Co-organiser Carol McLaughlin said it was created to be a community service to give people more access to books and to encourage a social gathering.

Though held at Trinity North Uniting Church, she said it was not just for church-goers.

The exchange runs every Wednesday from 9am to 11.30am.
