Free Carnaby’s black cockatoo workshop at ECU Joondalup

LEARN how to identify and conserve the Carnaby’s black cockatoo at a free workshop at ECU Joondalup on Tuesday.

Hosted by BirdLife Australia’s Threatened Bird Network and the Southwest Black-Cockatoo Recovery Program, together with Holcim Australia, the event will run from 9.30am to 4pm.

It will include a presentation by Adam Peck from the Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo Project as well as a field trip around campus to learn about the birds’ breeding ecology.

The workshop will finish with a tree planting at a nearby Jandabup site.
