“The Stratton family is like family to us.
“Princess Margaret Hospital has been amazing in Kaide’s treatment and when he became the Telethon boy this year, we wanted to help him to raise donations and support him in this important role.”

She said while most families were preparing to ride the 16km, there would be three stations set up for kids to be picked up early and for refreshments “to ensure all ages and abilities can be involved”.
Mrs Mowll said she hoped the children would “feel fantastic after they see what they can achieve and how they can contribute”.
“It’s about showing the children that many things they take for granted are not always easy for others and they can use these strengths to help give back,” she said.
“Kaide is inspirational for our children to be around.
“His attitude is exceptional and he shows you are only limited by your will, imagination and persistence.”
