SORRENTO Beach will be turned into an obstacle course from 8.30am on November 14 to raise money for burns research.

The Jack the Wagtail Physical Challenge involves competitors running, wading and swimming before finishing with an obstacle section.

A leadership group at Marmion Primary School created the challenge, which is now in its sixth year, to help raise funds for Fiona Wood’s burns research teams.

All competitors will receive a Jack the Wagtail wristband, hat and participation certificate.

Places are limited to 300, with categories for five to eight years, nine to 10 years, 11 to 12 years, 13 and over years and adults.
