Visitors at ECU Joondalup’s open day on Sunday, July 28 could get the opportunity to meet West Coast Eagles player Nic Naitanui and AFLW recruit Parris Laurie as well as seeing behind the scenes at campus facilities from 10am to 3pm.

Organisers say vistors can learn about insects people could be eating in the future, design a building using virtual reality, explore labs, courtrooms and do motorsport workshops.

They are also offering a prize draw of a trip for two to London, New York or San Francisco worth $7500, as well as an arcade and gaming zone, and food trucks.

Other activities include a murder mystery, mind reading through a headset that monitors brain activity while being shown information on courses to help determine the best course people should study, and pick the suspect activities.

There will also be a live reptile display, pregnancy simulation with an empathy belly, robotics, a moot court and cryptography and password cracking.
