Goodenough seeks funding for community radio station 89.7FM

MOORE MHR Ian Goodenough has gone in to bat for community radio station 89.7FM.

He appealed in Federal Parliament last month for funding for the volunteer organisation based at ECU Joondalup.

Station announcer and chairwoman Sue Myc said 89.7FM appreciated the politician’s speech.

“It showcased what our station is about and the work that is done with no financial rewards for any staff including admin, announcers and all who give their time so freely to keep community radio alive,” she said.
