GOOLLELAL Primary School P&C will hold a fun run and fete on October 23 at Lake Goollelal and Legana Park.
More than 250 people took part in the event last year and organisers hope this weekend’s event will be bigger.
“We are hoping to raise enough money this year to put toward playground facilities and other school resources,” organiser Claire Nicholas said.
The independent public school supports children with special needs, including several students who have autism, hearing and other physical or intellectual impairments.
The 5km run will start at 9am, with registrations from 8.30am, and the fete will run from 9am to 12.30pm at the park on the corner or Legana Avenue and Goollelal Drive.
