The community mural. The art workshops.

PERTH graffiti artist Paul Deej has brought the artworks of local children to life at Whitford City shopping centre.

Deej has painted a community mural at one of the centre’s entrances leading to parents with prams parking bays, which was designed from drawings by children attending art workshops at the centre.

Children were asked to draw pictures of what they loved about living in Hillarys.

More than 600 works were submitted, resulting in a mural of green parks and coastal living incorporating elements of nature, family and fantasy.

Each picture in the mural is a replica of the original drawn by the children and features the first names of each budding artist.
