RAM raiders drove a vehicle through the front of a Greenwood shopping centre overnight between Thursday and Friday to steal an ATM.

Police believe the crime involved four people in two vehicles, one carrying an enclosed trailer, targeting Greenwood Village on Calectasia Street about midnight.

Police Media spokeswoman Susan Usher said an offender drove one of the cars into the building causing extensive damage.

“Using the vehicle, the offenders have dragged an ATM from its footing and into the carpark before loading it into the trailer and fleeing the area,” she said.

“A Nissan Navara possibly involved in this incident was located set alight a short distance away.”
