GREENWOOD author Rashida Murphy is a guest speaker at the Avon Valley Readers and Writers Festival, happening this weekend.
She will talk about the experience of writing her recently released novel The Historian’s Daughter in a one-hour presentation in York on Friday.
“The action of my novel takes place over 20 years and across three different countries – India, Iran and Australia,” she said.
“I’ll focus on the political histories of the three countries from the period 1975-1995 and how events intersected and affected the lives of my characters.”
