FIVE Greenwood College students recently returned from Queensland as champions of a national problem-solving competition.

Year 9 students Ann Cao, Jacque Walters, Konrad Dumpleton, Asmaa Hameed and Cyrine Almodovar won division two in the Opti-Minds Creative Sustainability Challenge in October.

In the competition, they had three hours to solve a social science challenge and gave a spontaneous presentation to another challenge involving an interpretation of an abstract question or image.
