Greenwood house party: WA Police charge teenager

Arson Squad members are continuing to investigate the blaze, which they believe was deliberately lit in a front bedroom.

Police allege the boy trespassed onto the vacant Crossandra Way property on July 23 to hold a party, which he advertised on Facebook. He also charged partygoers an entrance fee.

Police and fire crews attended after the party got out of hand and a blaze engulfed part of the building. Officers charged the Bedford boy with trespassing and organising a gathering that became out of control.

He is due to appear in Perth Children’s Court on August 28.
