GREENWOOD train station is set to get new shelters.

Kingsley MLA Andrea Mitchell and Transport Minister Bill Marmion braved the wet weather last month to announce the additional shelters would mean an extra 60 per cent of the station would be covered.

Construction is expected to be completed by mid-year.

Ms Mitchell said the upgrade would make the station “more comfortable and safe for passengers in both the summer and winter”.
