NO long suffering for new Richmond supporters Jack and Max Brooks.

The Greenwood brothers have been born into a time Tigers fans are daring to dream after a 37-year premiership drought.

Mum Rachel Kemp, who heads up the WA Richmond Supporter Group, signed up the 14-month-old twins as official Tiger members this season.

They won’t be travelling to Melbourne for the grand final against Adelaide this Saturday. But mum, a convert to the game from rugby league, will be at the MCG while dad Matt Brooks looks after the boys at home.

“I’m from Sydney and grew up following rugby league,” Rachel said. “When I moved to Perth, I shared a house when I was 19 with a mad Richmond fan.

“He taught me about AFL – and I was in love with Matthew Richardson at the time so I thought I’d go for Richmond.”

Partner Matt is also from NSW. Rachel took him to a Richmond-West Coast Eagles game at Subiaco Oval about five years ago.

“The Tigers won and he thought he better support Richmond,” she said.

Rachel gave a shout out to Odin Tavern owner Kaye Rothall, who supports the Adelaide Crows. The WA Richmond Supporter Group has been watching Richmond games there for 10 years.
