A POPULAR Christmas event in Heathridge has been rescheduled.

Heathridge Carols will move from December 17 to December 23 because of bad weather forecast for this weekend.

“With the impending bad weather forecast for this weekend we were unfortunately looking to have to make the tough call to cancel the event for safety reasons,” a statement on the event’s Facebook page said.

“However, thanks to amazing flexibility from our partners, the City of Joondalup, production crew, fireworks and volunteers we have been able to reschedule Heathridge Carols.”
