MEET the people behind a Heathridge community centre at its open day this week.
The Spiers Centre is offering free family activities and information on community services on May 19 from 10am to 3pm as part of National Families Week.
Chief executive Gaelle Gouillou said it was an opportunity for people to find out about the community services available and meet the staff.

READ NOW“The Spiers Centre has been working together with individuals and families to develop strong, caring and resilient communities for over 30 years,” she said.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to welcome the community to the centre so they can learn what we do and meet our dedicated team of staff and volunteers.”
Activities include a bouncy castle, face painting, live entertainment, first aid demonstrations, information sessions with financial counsellors and a free sausage sizzle.
The centre is at 2 Albatross Court, Heathridge.
