TWO acts with distinctly African sounds will close the Music in the Park concert series on Saturday.
Mawson Park in Hillarys is expected to attract the biggest crowd of the season as Grace Barbe and Soukouss Internationale take to the stage.
Grace Barbe and her band will fuse tropical rhythms with psychedelic rock, afrobeat, reggae and pop, while Soukouss Internationale will deliver a high-energy show that features vocal melodies, afro-Latin rhythms and African dance beats.
So far more than 7000 people have attended the City of Joondalup event already held at Central Park in Joondalup and Penistone Park in Greenwood. The final show kicks off at 6pm with children’s activities before the music starts at 7pm.Food and drinks are available to buy or bring your own picnic.
