The three-day event will include free activities such as a beginners’ sailing program for children aged seven to 12, kayak and stand-up paddle board demonstrations, a casting competition for children and fishing information.
Children can also meet Mermaid Stardust on the beach from 11am to 3pm on the Saturday and Sunday.
The Department of Transport will conduct lifejacket and flare demonstrations, tours of a marine safety vessel and will run its Old4New exchange program to help people upgrade to new modern lifejackets.
The show at Hillarys Boat Harbour is from 9am to 6pm on April 8 and 9 and from 9am to 5pm on April 10. Cost is $10 for adults and children are free.
