A BEACHSIDE community market is coming to Hillarys next month.

The inaugural Markets by the Sea, organised by Brooke Wren and Tamrin Grigoratos, will fill Whitfords Nodes on Sunday, December 3 from 9am to 2pm.

“We are both enthusiastic market-goers and try to visit as many as possible,” Ms Wren said.

“We enjoy seeing what Perth has to offer in the way of unique and handmade goods and think it’s a much nicer alternative to shopping commercially.

“After a morning browsing at another popular Sunday market, we spoke about how great it would be to curate our own market full of all of our favourite things.

“We wanted to hold a different vision to other markets in Perth with chilled Sunday hangs, beach vibes and great artisan and boutique stalls, while celebrating the brilliance of Perth small businesses.”

Stalls will include arts and crafts, homewares, accessories, henna artists, jewellery, plants, woodwork, photography and floristry.

There will also be food trucks, a kid’s zone and buskers throughout the day.

“We offer a fresh new take on the market scene; one that strays away from low quality, direct selling or party planning stalls,” Ms Wren said.

Entry is free.
